Friederike Roth is one of Germany's most prominent young clarinettists. In addition to her artistic work as a soloist, she works as a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts. She studied under famous clarinet personalities such as Ralph Manno, François Benda, Karl-Heinz Steffens and Karl Leister. Today, she is the leader of the Berolina Ensemble and is active with various symphony and opera orchestras.

Friederike Roth is one of the most prominent young clarinettists in German music. In addition to her artistic work as a soloist and in various ensembles, she works as a teacher specialising in clarinet, chamber music for woodwinds and clarinet playing methodology at the Berlin University of the Arts.
She received her clarinet training from famous personalities such as Ralph Manno, François Benda, Karl-Heinz Steffens and Karl Leister. Among other things, she supplemented her concert examinations in clarinet with a master's degree in chamber music with Eberhard Feltz. Friederike Roth was already a member of the Federal Youth Orchestra when she was at school. To this day she is active in various symphony and opera orchestras.
She is the leader of the Berolina Ensemble, which focuses on expanding the ensemble's traditional repertoire. With this ensemble She has released several CDs to great acclaim, including several early recordings of musically important late Romantic works. She is often heard on the radio with his recording of Iwan Müller's clarinet concertos.
