The young musicians who will be selected will participate in UYO's scheduled concerts in Greece and abroad, as well as in all the seminars and educational programs that the orchestra will organize during the artistic period 2023 - 2024.

Terms of participation

1. Young musicians up to 26 years old, students or graduates of conservatories or music universities in Greece or abroad are eligible to apply.
2. Applicants must complete the online application form, which is available on the UYO website
3. Candidates must adhere to the agreed schedule on the day of the auditions and listen to the instructions of the orchestra manager.
4. Candidates living outside Athens can send video material to the orchestra's email: uyo@uyo.gr with a deadline of the day of the auditions.

General Information - Clarifications

1. In the video audition material sent to the UYO, candidates are first asked to briefly introduce themselves and their reasons for wanting to join the UYO. They will then perform the selection piece and instrumental excerpts as listed on the website. Applicants can search for the required works and orchestral excerpts on the Audition Repertoire page.
2. The jury of the auditions consists of the artistic director and renowned musicians, teachers of UYO.
3. The musicians who will be selected will be informed personally via email and the orchestra's social media.
4. The video material (musician's presentation, selection and orchestral excerpts) should be sent via WeTransfer to uyo@uyo.gr.
5. The audition should be recorded in a single video file or if the size exceeds the limit then you can make 2 videos (musician presentation, selection and orchestral excerpts). Video excerpts of the audition works, videos which have been edited or have poor sound quality will be automatically rejected.

Information on Personal Data

1. All personal data of Candidates entered in the online application form, which is available on the UYO website or sent to uyo@uyo.gr is and remains confidential. UYO shall be understood as the data controller.
2. UYO informs Candidates that it and its management, employees and external collaborators will process, on its behalf and at its request, the personal data sent to it by email or entered in the online application form, as follows:

α) Είδος των δεδομένων: i. Όσον αφορά στην ηλεκτρονική φόρμα αίτησης συμμετοχής στις ακροάσεις: Τα προσωπικά δεδομένα σε αυτές (όπως ενδεικτικά το ονοματεπώνυμο, η ημερομηνία γέννησης, η φυσική και ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση, το τηλέφωνο επικοινωνίας και τυχόν άλλα προσωπικά δεδομένα των Υποψηφίων που θα καταχωρήσουν οι ίδιοι στα πεδία της ηλεκτρονικής φόρμας) και ii) Όσον αφορά στα ηλεκτρονικά μηνύματα (e-mails) που αποστέλλονται: Τα δεδομένα που συμπληρώνει ο Υποψήφιος κατά την αποστολή του ηλεκτρονικού μηνύματος (όπως ενδεικτικά η ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση, το ονοματεπώνυμο και το μαγνητοσκοπημένο οπτικοακουστικό υλικό για την ακρόαση).

b) Purpose of the processing: i) the evaluation of requests for participation in auditions and, in case of a positive evaluation, the participation of young musicians in concerts, seminars and educational programmes organised by UYO, ii) the implementation and support of programmes and actions for young artists, iii) in general, the guidance, training and promotion of young talented musicians in the symphonic repertoire.

c) Data recipients: for the data necessary to serve each of the above processing purposes and within the scope of the responsibilities of each recipient: both UYO itself and its management, employees and external partners.

Following the above information, I give my explicit and free consent to the processing of my personal data in accordance with the above, knowing that this consent is freely revocable at any time in the future, by means of a document that I will submit to you.
