Clarinet Masterclass

- The Underground Youth Orchestra,continuing its educational activities, is organizing a clarinet and chamber music masterclass for woodwind instruments with with Krzysztof Grzybowski .

The masterclass offers a unique opportunity for young clarinetists and students to work with an internationally acclaimed artist, gaining valuable knowledge and high-level artistic experience.

The masterclass includes one individual lesson of one hour.

BIO

Krzysztof Grzybowski has earned a masters degree with Prof. Sabine Meyer at the Musikhochschule Lübeck. Following his graduation, he pursued further studies of chamber music with Prof. Wolfgang Meyer and Prof. Eduard Brunner (Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe). In addition to that, he has both Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Music in Białystok (Prof. Mirosław Pokrzywiński). He is regularly invited to perform in prestigious festivals throughout Europe such as: “Kissinger Sommer” Bad Kissingen, “Max Reger Musiktage” Weiden or “Festival of Polish Music” in Kraków. As a soloist, he has performed with many orchestras in Europe, including the PKF - Prague Philharmonia, London Gala Orchestra, National Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, NFM Wrocław Philharmonic, Orchestra of Polish Radio in Warsw, Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus, Warsaw Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Lviv National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, INSO Lviv Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, Flensburger Bach Ensemble and more. Some of the artists which Krzysztof regularly collaborates with are: Sabine Meyer, Karl Leister, Igor Levit, Danjulo Ishizaka, Andrei Ioniţă, Pinchas Steinberg, Agnieszka Duczmal, Stefan Asbury, Michał Klauza, Stathis Karapanos, Fil Liotis, Bartłomiej Nizioł. He is a founder of Amadeus Wind Ensemble. The group is combined with members of one of the London Symphony Orchestra, prominent Polish instrumentalists. The opening concert which started this tremendous cooperation took place in National Opera in Warsaw. He performed as a soloist in the premiere recording of Contertino for clarinet and orchestra composed by Michał Spisak with the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Warsaw conducted by Michał Klauza. The recording was included in the prestigious PWM Project: A Hundred for Hundred Musical Decades of Freedom issued on the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland.
