- Underground Youth Orchestraontinuing its dynamic educational activity, is organizing an Oboe Masterclass - with Lorenzo Masala.
The masterclass includes one individual lesson of one hour.

BIO
- Lorenzo Masala was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1972 and began his musical studies on the oboe at the age of ten with Elias Ovcinnikoff and Giampiero de Santi,principal oboist of the Genoa Opera.
At the age of nineteen, he obtained his Orchestra Diploma from the Nicolo’ Paganini” Conservatory of Genoa and he continued his studies at the Musik-Akademie Baselin the Konzertklasse of Omar Zoboli. Where he also began studying baroque oboe with Michel Piguet. He subsequently pursued further studies at the Musikhochschule Luzern,in the soloist class Kurt Meier,completing his artistic training.
He has participated in international masterclasses with distinguished oboists such as Ingo Goritzi, Hans Elhorst, Robin Canter, Alex Klein, Albrecht Mayer, Jean-Louis Capezzali και Emmanuel Abbühl,further enriching his interpretative approach.
As a soloist, he has performed with important orchestras and ensembles, including the Collegium Musicum Schloss Pommersfelden in Bamberg, the Akademisches Orchester Danzig, the Luzerner Kammerorchester, and Ensemble La Partita in Zurich.His artistic activity also includes recordings for major European radio institutions such as Swiss Radio DRS, Bavarian Radio, Radio France, RAI, and Polish Radio.
He has collaborated and continues to collaborate with prominent European orchestras and ensembles, including Theater Basel, Basel Sinfonietta, Camerata Schweiz, Da Vinci Orchestra Basel, Aargauer Sinfonieorchester, Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein, Schweizer Philharmonie Luzern, Kammerorchester Wallis, Sinfonieorchester Mulhouse, Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova, and Philharmonie Jena.
His multifaceted artistic activity, both as a performer and as a specialist in reed making, establishes him as one of the most distinguished and sought-after oboists of his generation.
